There’s a Hero – Luke Hopkins

Luke HopKathryn webkins is a Park City native who just turned 12 this summer. When he heard about the Songs For Life contest, he wanted to donate this song in honor of his Aunt Kathryn who was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and is still in that fight, with the hopes of entering remission. He believes this song speaks to the heroics of his aunt and the way she and so many other cancer patients rise to the challenge of this awful disease.

This song is called “There’s a Hero”, originally recorded by Billy Gillman.

Right on, Luke! Sally and I also admire your aunt Katherine and the great fight she has put up against cancer. And how lucky she is to have a nephew like you!
